Future everyday CF who will settle as 4th OF post prime. Plays w/ hair on fire. Shows eye popping bat speed+power for size, and the intangibles to match. Metrically, his avg bat speed of 75 mph (max 79.2) as a JR in HS (per PBR) would’ve put him in the top 30 of MLB players, which was nearly 3 yrs & 15 lbs ago. Rare bat speed brings eye popping EV’s, w/ 7 barrels in the 95-100 mph range and a 104 EV over 5 game span @ LakePoint. Eison’s avg rotational acceleration of 24.1g (MLB avg 17) & hand speed of 23.9 in HS put him well above MLB average, which has surely increased w/ strength+weight gains.

His improvements in keeping the upper half+head back in stride, timing of proper release+contact points, and holding posture thru contact are now translating violent EV’s to HR’s w/ consistent loft in his ball flight. He isn’t just hitting HR’s on FB’s, but hit 4 of his 11 this season on breaking balls. Eison’s pitch recognition and ability to delay/slow down his move & keep hands back on offspeed is a rare trait. His hustle on the basepaths & grass are also rare in today’s game. His instincts, speed, and arm are more than adequate to stick in CF long term. Will play wherever team needs. Overall, he’s a bat 1st prospect whose offensive metrics immediately would be top tier in any MLB org. The hitting intangibles are all there, and is more than adequate defensively. Will be a fan favorite wherever he goes.
