I posted this just under 3 years ago. There are currently 10 videos (6 English, 4 French) covering 4 grades (4, 5, 6 and 9). The ineffectiveness of this ministry (@AlbertaEd) despite a change in minister continues to be reprehensible.
@corthor1971@rdpschools@albertateachers@60Local It was a pleasure being able to join you. To all of the new teachers, may the rest of your years be amazing 🤩 remember you have lots of people ready to support you in any way that they can, including the @albertateachers
That is a wrap on #elac2024. Congratulations to the co-directors @kmcbean & @MandaBourassa on a job extremely well done. You have raised the bar for conferences. @ABELATeachers is so 🍀 to have you involved. All the best in the last couple of months of school. @albertateachers
This is what I know about the @albertaNDP leadership race. When it is over & there is a leader elected, the party will be stronger, the party will be together, & the party & its members will collectively fight against @ABDanielleSmith & the party will be the next @YourAlberta
“Being trans to me is a gift” said @ivancoyote to @albertateachers@ABELATeachers members at #elac2024. Thank you Ivan for your amazing words. You truly are an amazing storyteller. Thank you for sharing your gifts, talents, and words.
@ABELATeachers own Lauren Charanduk presenting on “Creating Thematic Literature Circles.” Thank you Lauren for sharing your skills and experiences with #ELA teachers from across the province. P.S. Thanks for bringing the most junior #elac2024 attendee. #standingroomonly

I loved an idea raised by @AnotherNisha. She discussed the idea that teachers who present joyful media can emancipate students.
Not every piece of media needs to be a teen trauma for young adults. More wonderful ideas 💡 from such a brilliant person.

@AnotherNisha is sharing her thoughts and words with #ELAC2024 participants, a group of @ABELATeachers, members of the @albertateachers. Nisha’s poetry is engaging, insightful and certainly makes you go “hmm…” Thank you Nisha for your words and the imagery you create with them.
Not every @AlbertaEd ELA outcome is shown based on a product, but can be observed. Courtney Steiner sharing observation checklists based on work of @Sandra_Herbst. Courtney described it as a “game changer.” @elac2024 @ABELATeachers
