Very proud to be one of "18 amazing UK companies will be attending SXSW with the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) this year". Drop me a note if you're in town and fancy meeting up. https://t.co/EF3coLVb36
@DHLParcelUK What if the item appears to have never left DHL Germany? Is that still Parcelforce’s issue? I have a tracking number that their site does not recognise.
@DHLParcelUK I have been sent a package from Germany, for which I have been given a tracking number. Your phone system does not accept the tracking number. I need to speak to someone, as I believe the package has been stolen. Please contact me asap.
@Gary_Cookson Totally with you Gary. I’m starting a time-wasted log to capture the time lost, wrangling with Teams. It’s significant. I’ve considered turning away work if it’s on it, but maybe we should just charge ‘lost time’ when working with organisations who require us to use Teams? ;-)
@Keir_Starmer You are 100% right @Keir_Starmer , and I am livid about it - as should we all be. They seem to be able to act without any true consequences... Please be more vocal about this. Twitter isn't enough. Have everyone in your party talking about their failures, everywhere.
@Gary_Cookson I recognise that feeling... That's where you need a platform that allows you to pop in and visit them, to see how they're getting on (why don't they all do that?) :-)
THREAD: Chatting with @chrischirp about why the UK hasn’t seen Covid cases rise on the same scale as many other countries.
Has the government actually got something right? Probably not. Instead looks like Brits have decided – of their own accord – to change their behaviour 1/12
@Gary_Cookson Thanks @Gary_Cookson and what a pleasure it was too! Looking forward to the next 3. Maybe I’ll actually pass the host privilege to you properly this week...
Just to be clear:
-No apology
-Confirms broken multiple lockdown rules on multiple occasions
-Drove 30 minutes with a four-year-old to "make sure he could see."
-Directly contradicts his own wife's account of their illness:

What an absolute farce this has been.
This has massively undermined the Gov's message - it's not good enough.
A totally unnecessary distraction. He needs to step back pending an investigation so we can refocus on how we get out of this mess safely.
It's wasting crucial time.
@carolecadwalla He subtly hints at whatever dirt he's got on Boris Johnson. Just enough to twist the knife a little more and make sure Boris stays compliant, but not enough for us to understand the details... He must have something over him.
@Gary_Cookson ...out there, and has been adopted by 'consumers' for that reason. The associated IT/Security fear 'noise' has become an issue for IT again. With the new security features & toggles it is fine... and if you want a better learning experience, you have to consider it 3/3
@Gary_Cookson ...from home would be as safe and/or fast as that in the office. Since COVID19, they've realised that business can carry on perfectly fine (with some cautionary adjustments being required). Zoom has been a little more complex. It IS better than most of the other platforms 2/3
