A positive end to pre-season as Albion rounded off their preparations with a 3-0 victory over Birtley.

Goals from Rhys Hutchinson, Callum Johnston and Oliver Bell sealed the win ahead of Saturday’s league opener.

Rhys Hutchinson bagged a brace to help Albion to another positive pre-season victory.

Rhys Hutchinson opened the scoring before Aaron Costello marked his return with a late winner.

A positive afternoon as Albion came from behind twice in the 1st half thanks to a Louis Calvert brace before strikes from Callum Johnston and Ethan Bewley secured the win.

Ryton & Crawcrook Albion have been drawn at home to @SunderlandRCA in the Isuzu FA Vase First Round Qualifying.

The tie is scheduled to take place on 15 August 2026.

Winners will host the Billingham
Town or Crook Town in the Second Round Qualifying on 12 September.

A competitive first outing of pre-season for Nathan Beckham’s side, with plenty of valuable minutes in the legs. Louis Calvert was on target to earn Albion a draw.

Attention now turns to Saturday’s match against Easington Colliery.
