A red umbrella, floating, with a man revealed in the reflection of a puddle holding the red umbrella.
Revoking Claude's fable and mythos could be a heroic story of safety and sober governance, or the start of access control and the corruption that follows.
Wow, the US government blocks Anthropic from serving Claude Fable and Mythos to any non-Americans, including foreign nationals on US soil, which is why Anthropic did a worldwide block of the models.
Congratulations to Louise Arbour, our 31st Governor General. I couldn't be more impressed with you as a person and the accomplishments of your life so far!
Watching Scott Pelley's NYT interview on leaving 60 Minutes after 37 years is heartbreaking. Corruption in an institution hurts everyone โ management and workers alike. No one isn't struggling with their role in this history. Some simply had more choice than others.
I have a broad definition of corruption. Corruption is anything that displaces objective effectiveness from the highest value of a person, organization, or task. Money, ego, complacency, and outside influences are the most common reasons effectiveness takes a backseat.
Eric Schmidt presided over Google's shift from serving customers to generating ad impressions. Early Google benefitted from faith in tech built up by people like Steve Jobs. Now, graduates and the public are suspicious of technologists.
The graduates Eric Schmidt was talking to have never known anything other than the dark patterns era of the tech industry where they are the product, don't own anything, are siloed and pitted against one another.
Re. his commencement speech: Eric Schmidt presided over tech's shift from serving customers to generating ad impressions. Early Google benefited from faith in tech built up by people like Steve Jobs. Now, graduates he was delivering a speech to are suspicious of tech.

Playing around with N8N is so much fun. My home server crashed, so now I am back on a more appropriate and hopefully more stable server running Open Media Vault on a Raspberry Pi 5.
I had a blast with Chainsaw Man. Both the first season and the Reze Arc. It's strangely one of the most true depictions of being a hormonal, love-starved teenage boy. My inner 16-year-old could relate.
Isn't a "stay in Canada" referendum question effectively a seperation question? Flipping the question just changes who votes "yes" and who votes "no". #alberta
Since when did the Disney+ app turn into hot garbage on my Samsung TV? It took me 8 minutes, 2 infinite loading screens, and 1 accidental jump into the National Geographic section just to get to Mail Shadow Lord. The app is so slow, it feels like my remote doesn't work.
Built this digital painting up from a black canvas using white charcoal strokes. The prompt was Light and Dark, but it became something about the masks we wear and what we hide in the shadows.
What do you see in it?
