Data Scientist @ TIBCO - enjoying all things data science, especially around #TIBCO Spotfire, analytics, machine learning and interesting integrations :)
@Brett2point0@mathsppblog@kanungle @loriaustex @DrSpotfire I try and break all code into logical functions where functionality is potentially reusable, or to make the code more readable and maintainable. This way, the code base is more sustainable long term and I find more often than not, you will always reuse functions created.
#Python nearly topping the TIOBE Index for the first time in history! That's why I am finding the tight Python integration in #TIBCO#Spotfire so incredibly useful in all the data science use cases I am working on.

@Brett2point0 Interesting insights from Spotfire! Effectively make your offense's defensive capabilities better all round to retain possession while keeping the oppositions defense on the field. Top talent needs protection... a sacked pro-bowl QB is still a sacked QB ;)
@Brett2point0 Very interesting! One point of view is to disregard last season due to the number of injuries. Many of the players committing those aren't there now (Qbs, Rbs). However, I think there is a concern around deep throw ints and a QB who is solid on those big throws may get preference
Quick tip for #Spotfire - easy custom styling of tables just by clicking on a table header. Control background colours of text, rows, headers as well as the positioning and text style itself:

We have a brand-new Spotfire demo that takes a look at the data from @teamTIBCO_SVB's 2020 season and beyond—power output, heart rate, and speed to optimize race strategies. Check it out and compares metrics from your favorite riders! https://t.co/vMfz3crHyF
Just released on our #TIBCO community exchange (which has loads of great free downloads) is our #Python column #correlation data function. Easily integrate multiple correlation methods into #Spotfire for your #analytics and #datascience tools

Custom autocompletes in #Spotfire will really enhance your #analytics and user experience. Spotfire makes all of these possible and customisable as it is highly extensible. #Spotfiremods would be a great route for this to :)

An often missed aspect of #datascience is exploring encoding categorical / text data. There are many methods and which works best will depend on your data, and #machinelearning#ai models. Read our #tibcodatascience blog on encoding methods to learn more!
