@leejsmartin@harukaawake I’ve seen it used freely in a non derisive way in the UK, Australia and by my grandparents in the U.S. But according to my woke Korean-American friend who only speaks English, it’s still racist.
As an American, I’m accustomed to driving with the steering wheel and controls on the opposite side. Sometimes I accidentally use the car wipers when trying to signal a lane change out of habit when driving in Japan, but that’s the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done as a foreigner.
