Lan 6-3 frame, balanced athletic setup w quiet hands. Ambushes this first pitch FB & drives it back up the middle for a 1B. Uphill barrel action & hands stay tight to body during turn.

Athletic 6-3 frame w long levers. Balanced athletic stance, lands slightly open upon landing. Barrel path is level through the zone w line drive tendencies.

2023 C Colin Souther, Hayfield (@Bradley_Eagles)

Uses double toe tap to time pitch, then re-adjusts front foot slightly to allow back elbow to get through. Does a nice job taking this pitch up the middle for a 1B.
