a couple years ago this came on at the club and i had a rare moment of actual real ecstasy which i'll probably never have again. everybody in the club (about five people) completely lost themselves skipped around a central column like a maypole, no cap
tragic story. pitchfork writer had a horrible record to review. he gave it a 0.0/10. years later after listening to it over and over he said it was one of his favourites, even though it was a bad album
these are people who don't find it magical when there's a hole in the ground and you can see what was there before, who don't find it exciting when a street is closed, who don't find the machinery beautiful, who find construction workers to be brutish rather than heroic
unfortunately i was a precocious reader as a child and to a lesser extent as a teen and so people who have known me a while expect me to have the attendant vocab
if my country gets invaded and i have a flag in my room of any kind, under the geneva conventions I can be killed with impunity because i'd have combatant status
soon I'm going to go to the grocery store and buy ingredients. and to any losers who might say to me "but nelson, food is really expensive" i will rejoin "i literally need this to survive you fucking reprobate"
when people tell you "you remind me so much of this person" or "you two would get along" they are playing dollhouse with their lives and are trying to put all their oddball dolls in the same room, agree / disagree
