We've also been practicing with our paid projects towards this hobby project. For example, Nate's been working on Akarios and I've been working on some app design stuff practicing for our little collector experience
Since one of our main inspirations for the project was video games and there's already a video game podcast called "Collector's Quest", we decided to tweak the name
The joy of finding extraordinary characters. 88-year-old Damayanti Pittie, president, Philatelic Congress of India, started collecting #stamps while accompanying her husband to Hanover post WW II because "there was nothing to do in the evenings"#philately

Failure is a real thing. Perseverance and learning from failures is what gets you to an end goal. We’re on version 5? of the CQ board game because we want it to be a game we love ❤️
Despite some setbacks due to bad backs and workload at our day jobs... we’re still working on CollectorQuest. Designing the app mockups to set up our developer friend to get the prototype up for testing. Will share more when we have something! Thanks for sticking around 🙂
We recorded an audio update, which we’ll post to our Patreon feed for those interested in the CQ project in the next day or so. Apologies for the silence!
Been working on revisions to the 4th edition of the #CollectorQuest board game a bit. Nate’s been playing with a new auction mechanic, and the character powers for the game that we haven’t added yet. It’s like one step forward, three steps back in game design sometimes!
