I always enjoy dedicating a good amount of time on tee work to maintain strong fundamentals. This is my first week practicing at BarryU. I’m beyond grateful for the amazing facilities/equipment available here! I’ve attached some videos tee work which are an example of the style of individual practice I’ve been implementing the past week.

I really enjoy these one/two handed drills with the flat bat to maintain a consistent bat path, focusing on staying inside the baseball and letting my lower body provide the power in my swing. Sometimes I can get slightly pushy with my hands, causing rollovers. I am further developing muscle memory for staying inside the ball, hinged, and finishing without rolling my wrists.

I will always view tee work as my favorite/most effective/most essential kind of practice when it comes to developing/maintaining swing mechanics.
