@CubsLeadingLady Congratulations, Dr. Bates on all of your success!!! I remember the dedication and good times we had serving those babies at MMB back in ‘04. God is faithful!
If you’re going to keep your joy, you have to be proactive. You can’t wait to see how you feel. When you wake up in the morning, you have to make a decision, “I’m going to be glad today. I’m going to see the good.”

When you know who you’re talking to, you won’t pray weak prayers. You’ll pray bold prayers. You’ll ask for things that other people think are far out, too much, that could never happen. Bold prayers get bold results.
God will use people, but people are not your source. Instead of looking to your cousin, your neighbor, your friend, start looking to God. People are limited; God is unlimited.
He promises all things work together for good. On its own, it may not be good; it's not fair; you’re uncomfortable. But when it all comes together, you’re going to see how it works to your advantage.
Sometimes we think it’s a lack of faith to say, “I don’t know.” We think we have to have all the answers, have it all figured out. Take the pressure off. You don’t have to know; God knows. He has you in the palm of His hand. He’s directing your steps.
