Would like to take this moment to announce I have transferred to play baseball at Erskine College. I am very grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank @scottybateman28 and @FleetBaseball for this opportunity.
Absolutely great having a lot of the college guys back on campus this week getting their workouts in. 7 different college programs represented. None had seen the new Wellness Center that @sjcdsathletics had built this year. @CoachSgromolo
The ‘24 State Championship team officially stamped the banner today. Thanks to @sjcdsathletics for getting the State Final Four banners hung as well. #SpartansLeavingaLegacy
Gunnar Henderson - Tank vs Take 🔥
• Top 10 in most hitting categories
• 96th percentile bat speed
• Shorter than MLB average swing length
• 90th percentile chase rate ✅
The best hitters I've been around..
I can't get them out of the cage
Literally have to make them step out, relax and take a break
The most average hitters I've met always find excuses on why they don't hit enough
or its too hot, not good enough balls, tired, whatever else BS
Gibby Gilliand ('25, St. Johns Country Day) - Physical 6' 205lb RHH/1B had a great workout yesterday. Showed pop in BP w/ several HR & collected 2 hits in live action; a 2B early in the count & a 2k 1B against a good arm in the other. Serviceable glove at 1B. (@GibbyGilliand)
John Martin ('25, Clay HS) - 6' 177lb LHH/OF impressed yesterday. Gritty showing. Ran out a 2B on a would be LD single in the shallow RC gap, took charge in the OF, and showed some pwr to the PS in BP. Keeps posture over the plate. Good student. (@lj_martin15)
