Namibia’s communications regulator has rejected all attempts to reverse its decision blocking Starlink’s licence applications.
Authorities insist the company still does not satisfy local ownership and control requirements. The ruling echoes the difficulties Starlink is facing in neighbouring South Africa.
Despite its fast growth across Africa, strict local ownership rules remain a major barrier in parts of Southern Africa.
NIGERIA MUST START TAXING IDIOTS Nigeria sometimes feels like a place where incompetence not only goes unpunished but is generously rewarded.
One is left wondering, almost in disbelief, how a man so manifestly unfit could find his way into the office of Minister of Power. But then the question widens and becomes even more damning, how did any of them become president, ministers, lawmakers, or governors in what is supposed to be a serious country?
China electricity generation is still growing super fast, with solar being the largest incremental contributor, and will exceed America by a factor of 3X either this year or next

Now that the charade has finally collapsed and the mischief-makers, long masquerading under pseudonyms, have been thoroughly unmasked, it is time for focus, candour, and transparency to take centre stage.
We move forward, decisively and without apology, far beyond the shadows of deception. There shall be no retreat; only progress.

According to them, Trump is the only one that can help them now as Tinubu is just silent and doing nothing. A country with thousands of military yet kids have been abducted and it’s getting to a week, yet nothing ?
Trump Abeg come.

A Mother's Appeal for Justice and Freedom: A Call to the World
My name is Uchechi Okwu-Kanu, and I speak as a woman who is exhausted, yet still standing; tired, yet still moving; wounded, yet still hopeful. I speak as a mother, and a wife whose heart has been heavy for far too long.
I am calling on the President of the United States to act swiftly to help protect Christians in Nigeria who are living in fear and facing violence simply for their faith. Their suffering cannot continue in silence and their cries must be heard.
I also reach out to influential women whose voices carry compassion, strength, and global influence:
Melania Trump, Usha Vance, the likes of @Erika Kirk, Oprah Winfrey, and Michelle Obama..
I ask you, from one woman to another, to help amplify this message. Please help me speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Most personally, I ask for your voices and support to help bring my husband, #NnamdiKanu, home. He has been held in detention under circumstances that violate due process, including being kidnapped in Kenya, tortured and extraordinaryly rendition to Nigeria by the kidnap Kingpin late Buhari - facing trial under a law that has already been repealed. His continued detention is unjust, unlawful, and deeply painful for our family.
I am only one woman, but I refuse to stop fighting for justice truth, and for my husband’s freedom. I ask the world , especially those with influence and compassion, to stand with me, to speak with me, and to help bring him safely home.

Security Alert !
#IPOB intelligence unit just busted a kidnapping camp at the boundary between Umuosinta Amuzi Obowo and Iheteafor-ukwu ahazu Mbaise .
Reports available has it that the criminals in-charge of this particular criminal den are Pastor Steve , Fulani , Akalaonu and others , a lot of unmarked graves were discovered there and many stolen vehicles are parked in the criminal camp.
Reports has it that some of the car owners were killed and buried in that place while some whom after collecting ransom were killed .
These gang of criminals are operating from Igweocha after their criminal operation in Imo state , they retrieved back to Igweocha to hide and will always return back to continue their criminal activities in that Obowo axis.
Therefore, the youths of these communities should take responsibility to protect their communities because two or three villagers are working with those criminals, yesterday the criminals came and moved two cars from that criminal camp to sell .
A lot of luxury cars are parked in that criminal camp from Toyota Avalon, Ranger Rover, Toyota Camry , Lexus etc
#ESN operatives are not present in this area because of certain reasons, some people working with politicians in the government of Hope Uzodinma are having links with these criminals from Igweocha , they use them for assassination , kidnapping and collecting Ransoms .
The youths and villagers from these communities Umuosinta Amuzi Obowo and Iheteafor-ukwu ahazu Mbaise know what to do in order to secure their communities .

Do you know ?
In a landmark decision in 1958, the West African Court of Appeal (WACA) ruled that Port Harcourt, historically known as Igweocha, belongs to the Igbos. The case, which was between the Ikwerre and Okrika communities, focused on the ownership and status of Port Harcourt.
WACA’s ruling in favor of the Igbos has remained unchallenged to this day, with no appeals filed since the judgment. During legal proceedings, renowned Nigerian author Elechi Amadi, when confronted with the WACA judgment by Ohaneze Ndigbo’s legal counsel, acknowledged the decision. He admitted that the Ikwerre people had enlisted the support of their wealthy Igbo brothers during the litigation against the Okrika people, which influenced the court’s ruling.
When asked if he had appealed the ruling, Amadi confirmed that no appeal was ever pursued. The WACA judgment, which remains valid, legally affirms that Port Harcourt is an Igbo city.
Historically, the original inhabitants of areas like Obigbo were primarily from Ngwa, Arochukwu, and Owerri, reinforcing the city’s deep Igbo roots. Legally, traditionally, and historically, Port Harcourt—known originally as Igweocha or Iguacha—is recognized as part of Igbo land.
This ruling stands as an enduring testament to the city’s connection with the Igbo people.
