@Chima_Obi1234 Be calming down small small. The Catholic Church never voted for him 2023, yet he won and the one they rigged for came a distant third. Today marks a repeat of the 2023 elections where your Obi and the Church made it a religious war. 2027 will not be different.
Have you seen the transformation of the Abuja–Lokoja Road (Sections 1 & 2), delivered by the best Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu?

Details: 125 km dual carriageway with solar lights. Starts at AIF Roundabout/King Square area in Benin City (Edo) and ends at Summit Junction in Asaba (Delta). Links South-South, South-East, and parts of South-West.
Includes carriageway expansion, drainage, and related works; some descriptions note multi-lane features in sections.
Timeline: Flagged off March 2025 by President Tinubu with a 30-month completion target. Phase One targeted for commissioning around October 2026.
Status: Ongoing
2. Dualisation of Obajana Junction–Benin Road (Lokoja–Benin Ajaokuta–Okene–Auchi–Ekpoma–Benin Expressway)
Details: Strategic dualisation linking North-Central (Kogi) to South-South (Edo).
Divided into sections as follows;
• Section I: Obajana Junction–Ajaokuta Junction.
• Section II: Okene–Auchi (63.70 km).
• Section III: Auchi–Ehor (54.224 km).
• Section IV: Ehor–Benin (67.9 km).
• Ekpoma section (40 km).
President Tinubu ordered for the use Concrete Reinforced Pavement after prior contracts was terminated for non-performance/expiry.
Timeline: Prior contracts terminated, re-awarded and flagged off February 2025 in Ekpoma by President Tinubu represented by Engr. David Umahi.
Status: Ongoing with Ekpoma/Lokoja–Benin section at 98% as of July 2026.
3. Benin–Sapele–Warri Road (Benin–Warri dual carriageway/bypass sections)
Details: Major federal highway corridor between Edo and Delta. Long-standing failed sections (erosion, potholes, flooding) affecting motorists and commerce. Includes urban stretches in Benin (e.g., Sapele Road axis) and approaches toward Warri.
Status: Ongoing
4. Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway (Edo Portion)
Details: National legacy coastal corridor connecting Lagos through multiple coastal states to Cross River. Originally did not include Edo in the primary alignment. However, President Tinubu magnanimously approved the inclusion of a 100-200km stretch as a “special gift” to the good people of Edo State in October 2025.
Status: Approval and realignment under the administration done, with construction advancing in Lagos sections (Section 1 substantially complete; Section 2 targeted for substantial completion around November 2026) and progressing in other states (Ogun, Ondo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, etc.).
Edo section set to commence before the end of 2026.
The people of Edo are saying thank you to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and will reciprocate the kind gesture very strongly at the polls come 2027!!
