@MoRocca@AmolProducer Our whole family was much moved, Mo. Large thanks to you and your team for such a graceful piece.

Coming up on #SundayMorning@ColmanMcCarthy, a teacher of peace, sat down with @MoRocca for an unforgettable conversation about spreading the philosophy of non-violence https://t.co/xQY4yzDWwa
One of our quiet greats: RT @CBSSunday: Coming up on #SundayMorning@ColmanMcCarthy is a true original: A golfer, former monk, WashPost columnist, a teacher of peace who spreads the philosophy of non-violence https://t.co/k91BOFc4WX
Memorial Day: In the sanctimony of their speeches today hailing the nation's past warriors not one general or pol has come close to citing one ever-darkening fact: the longest war in US history rolls along in Afghanistan.
Bush 41 says he no regrets. Really? No regrets about invading Iraq in 1991 where over a million people have been killed, wounded or displaced, and mega-billions of U.S. dollars have been squandered. Plus no end in sight.
Memorial Day: let's remember the deranged pols who sent the young to die in our endless wars. Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan,
Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump. And their vile living enablers: Kissinger, Rumsfeld, Albright, Rice, Clinton, Kelly. Let them NOT rest in peace.
My favorite St. Francis quote: "Start by doing what's necessary. Then do what's possible. And suddenly you are doing the impossible."
Anyone disagree with that?
Let's remember Gandhi today, the 70th anniversary of his death. His goal was not to bring the British to their knees but to their senses. He succeeded.
RIP Ursula LeGuin. Her best line ever: "He had grown up in a country run by politicians who sent the pilots to man the bombers to kill the babies to make the world safe for children to grow up in."
Elect a racist, expect bigotry. Elect a fool, expect folly. Elect a clown, expect a circus. Elect Donald Trump, expect Donald (I'm a genius) Donald Trump
