There's a wee figure on top of the Glenfinnan Monument called the Lone Highlander and this is a story about him.
Well not the statue specifically and it's a bit of a tall tale, but you'll get what I mean!

I’m looking for respondents for my MSc dissertation survey which covers fan perceptions of streaming SPFL fixtures during COVID restrictions https://t.co/L2iYIFgNv5
responses/shares appreciated!
Sums it up. We seem to be predictable and easy for teams to set up against us. Nevermind the slow tempo and though we have 4 centre mids nothing goes through the middle. Worrying that this is the 7th or 8th game in a row where we need to change approach at ht.
Same story we’ve seen all season I’m afraid. Ramsay the best player on the park. Look like we have a complete inability to defend and at times look totally unorganised. A lack of a link between the midfield and Ramirez. All three trying to do the same thing coming deep.
Now that all the clubs in the Scottish Premiership have finally published their accounts for the 2019/20 season, here is an overview of their financials, which were adversely impacted by the season’s early closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic #spfl
Many saying the manager didn't get the tactics right, didn't get the team selection right...but just about every player didn't play anywhere close to how they can or how they did vs England. Credit also to Croatia, on that performance the best team we have faced in our group.
I'm sure I read a week or so ago of this @ScottishLabour error on their leaflets, surely they had time to fix. Suppose I'll need to find someone else to vote for as I don't think this is a real person.😆
Jaw-dropping. The UK Tory government is going to Court to challenge a law passed by @scotparl unanimously. And for what? To protect their ability to legislate/act in ways that breach children’s rights in Scotland. Politically catastrophic, but also morally repugnant.
Surely if the PM was going to block #indyref2 the @ScotTories wouldn't need to talk about it, at all really, & would have come to the election with some policies and a vision for Scotland? Why would they waste time campaigning for something they say can't happen. I don't get it.
On this day in 1320, the Declaration of Arbroath was drawn up by the monks of Arbroath Abbey. It was a letter from Scottish nobles to the Pope, affirming their determination to maintain Scotland's independence.
Let me just say this again: Senior Conservative government ministers have been found to have breached the ministerial code. Nicola Sturgeon has been cleared. @ScotTories must explain why they wanted her to resign before a judgement had been made but stay silent on their own party
The conduct of some of members on the Holywrood Inquiry have been disgraceful. It provides an insight to the standards they and their parties would govern Scotland. People should take heed prior to voting in May.
Patrick Harvie calls on members of the Holyrood Inquiry who leaked its contents to be removed as candidates in the May elections. Boot moving fairly swiftly to the other foot.
