The issue comes from hearing two other parties effectively telling those people that their vote is worthless. Why vote when your choice is basically vetoed out of govt

It doesn’t matter that they aren’t voting for FF/FG, the issue is (and it’s what you originally asked) that they aren’t voting. NI gets nowhere near enough of a budget from London for what they need to improve the country and SF has held majority power for a whopping 2 years.

@nanakando @paddycosgrave We voted in droves in 2020 only to have FF and FG give us the finger by vetoing any chance of SF getting a crack of the whip, then we lived through 4 years of an FF/FG circlejerk.

We see no hope for change because too many older people don’t see any need to change things.
