@GLynchRacing Canavan for me. Carried a poor Tyrone team in the early years. And like all northern players pre 2000 had to also manage living in a time when people were being gunned down for playing GAA. Imagine if he’d spent his career in a strong Kerry team.
@TheVendaGuy No, it’s what slave traders did to slaves. Not every white country was involved. Irish suffered their own oppression. Black land owners in the west coast countries were equally if not more guilty for rounding up the peasants on their lands and selling them to European colonists
@woodlandbirch Relevance? I’m born in 1990 and gutted I didn’t get a ticket. But by your theory I’m not allowed to listen to the Rolling Stones because I wasn’t born in the 60s? 🤔
@soxjam@RichMarazzi@SexyJC8675309@historyrock_ And that’s what makes a band “big”. Everything else is personal taste. I like pearl jam too btw.
Xmas before their reunion announcement Spotify stated I was top 0.5% oasis listener. Now loads of wankers are there for the sole purpose of likes on their streams. Life isn’t fair
@RichMarazzi@soxjam@SexyJC8675309@historyrock_ Respectfully disagree (at least about me personally). I’m not touchy about it, I just recognise the irony of people who aren’t fans feeling the need to say they’re not one of the biggest bands ever. If they weren’t; nobody would feel the need to say so. Didn’t get tickets FYI 👎
@soxjam@SexyJC8675309@historyrock_ And yet they’re about to smash every record that exists with a comeback tour. I guess all 10 million people must be in on the practical joke 🧐😂
@SexyJC8675309@historyrock_ Isn’t in their top 20 best songs. Seems to be “hip” to say you don’t like oasis, and try to pretend they’re not the biggest most influential rock band in the last 30 years apparently
