Today is also International Firefighters’ Day, set up in 1999 following the tragic deaths of five firefighters in an Australian bushfire.

We honour them and remember with respect our fallen colleagues worldwide.

We remember all our friends and colleagues who have lost their lives while protecting the public in the line of duty.
