@DanKnightMMA I really don't like Harper. I really don't like Trudeau. Conservatives shouldn't forget that we got rid of Harper. I think Poilievre is a smart and insightful leader and I think his handlers are going to kill his chances of winning.
Having Steven Harper endorsing Polievre isn't helpful. I remember voting Harper out. Now I want Trudeau out. I for sure don't want Harper back in. If he is backing Polievre its a reason to look at Carney.
@realdogeusa It's like pumping money from a well. Every time the market crashes it's a new opportunity to buy in at a discount. and we've had enough crashes to know the routine.
@lippyent I look out for the ones I care about. I help them where I can. That is a huge part of manners. Hold the door, keep myself between them and danger, Be kind. If one also cares about the world around them they will look out for others too.
5.License Superchargers to all EV makers = $$$
6.Release a true sub-$30K mass-market EV
7. Ditch Cybertruck hype—build practical trucks & vans
Tesla needs execution, not hype.
Will they pivot or crash?
I think Musk is Amazing. I also think Tesla is in trouble.
How to Save Tesla
1.Step back from Elon as the brand face
2.Rebrand Tesla as everyone’s EV, not a political statement
3.Fix quality & service issues—match Toyota/Ford reliability
4.Expand battery, solar, & AI business
@PeteHegseth Classic miss direction. The real story is something everyone is now ignoring. I don't know. deliberate leak? maybe covering a secret chat with Putin, maybe a deal with MBS. I believe in political spin more that accidents.
@GadSaad@MarkJCarney@PierrePoilievre I agree. A person shouldn't have to pay tax until they have earned enough to live a dignified life. The better off benefit from the stable society the working poor help create. How much is that? probably at least $50,000. Trump recently suggested $150,000
@Martyupnorth_2 Shouldn't that have been the Liberal's plan all along? From what I gather it is Liberal policy that was a barrier to trade in the first place.
@RealDeanCain Yes. Education needs reform and sometimes that means breaking up old monopolies. Medicine and law are another couple of areas that could use reform.
If Carney doubles down on ESG, net zero, and social justice:
1. Higher energy & living costs
2. Capital flight & job losses
3. Strained trade relations
4. Overregulation
5. Widened political divides
6. Lost economic agility
7. Weaker energy security
8. Stifled innovation
@RichardDawkins Absolutely right. Trump has pushed aside much of what is stupid of the woke left but don't forget that he is a businessman and his self intertest will not likely align with ours. We want a rational balanced just society with opportunity for all. remain vigilant.
It is time to privatize the CBC and Canada Post. I don't think anyone can argue that government run agencies are ever efficient. Along the same line it is time to look at the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology etc to break the monopoly. You want affordable health care?
