@JoeRoganRecaps All gospels were written by the persons whose name are the titles (that's why their names are the title). All gospels were written before 70 A.D. (i.e. before the destruction of the temple). The gentleman is making a truth claim out of a hypothesis.
@buttonslives There might not be a right answer for this, as we don't usually say this or that denomination/church is specialized in teaching about evil in particular. I would say pray to God about what He would want for you to focus on first, and to meanwhile help you find a good church.
@willspencer This is the great deception the Bible warns about in the end times. So many Christians are warming up to this. That's how crafty Satan is.
@johnlcooper Jesus can be many things to many people, something no single man can do. He can be a savoir, God, doctor, friend, consultant, husband, judge, confidant , and yes... therapist. The reason for so many roles is for so many needs out there. Let us not criticise this.
@RRR0BYN Manifestation is just a label that new agers put on an existing principle, nothing more. This principle exists throughout the Bible and God says use it (correctly). Actually, it exists in all walks of life. E g., secularists call it "a business plan".
@Apauwels25 The New Testament repeats some laws from the Old, especially the 10 commandments, and morally it is based on law. So on the broad issues the Church gets plenty right, but unfortunately loses out on the rich details of God's law.
@devoninMENA If it's worth anything... I did a comparative study of the Tabernacle of Moses with the garden of Eden. Somewhat outside the scope of your request, but it might be an interesting precursor to your study. It starts at around page 15 of this ebook. https://t.co/UA4Qmqsnt1
@melissa_land An actual word by word translation would be the interlinear Bible. Not very practical to carry around as a book, but the software version is great and it's free at scripture4all dot org . Mind you, it's very technical; it's more for in-depth or analitical study.
I will say of the Lord, βHe is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.β ... He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge... Psalm 91:2+
@ianmiles Rev. 6:6 ...Two pounds of wheat for a dayβs wages, six pounds of barley for a dayβs wages, but do not damage the oil and the wine!β
Hosea 4:3 .. the land mourns, all who dwell in it languish... the beasts of the field, the birds of the sky, even the fish of the sea are taken away.
@CalebMPowers There are instances of Christians living in communes, depicted in the Bible, not to be confused with "the early church all lived in communes".
