@JulieBorowski Massive income inequality? Sure. Unrestricted government surveillance of citizens, often by private companies? Yep. Stripping away of fundamental rights like speech and assembly? It's happening. But tackiness? NOT ON MY WATCH.
@JulieBorowski Who cares when people can't eat, can't put gas in their car, can't pay their electric bill, can't pay their property taxes, can't pay their medical bills. Why is this even national discourse? This is not the role of government.
@JulieBorowski Who fucking cares when people can't eat, can't put gas in their car, can't pay their electric bill, can't pay their property taxes, can't pay their medical bills. Why is this even national discourse? This is not the role of government.
@AGToddRokita Were you ever going to put it to a vote of the people like Virginia and California did? Of course not. And you can argue that that's not how we do things in Indiana, sure, but you're making a false equivalency and you know it.
@thomasBaddele16@tonykatz@debacleofkk You have to do that to REGISTER TO VOTE, not to vote. People like Tony count on you not making that distinction. You could present a DL, passport and certified documents showing you're a direct grandchild of George Washington, but you still don't vote if you're not REGISTERED.
@BasedMikeLee@grok Well we all know who you represent. Remember that time you made jokes about murdered lawmakers because they weren't in your political party? Scumbag.
@JamesEBriggs@freep Mine too! I read this book over and over in 7th grade after being cut from my basketball team. And recreated Michigan-Indiana and Michigan-Duke games all winter spring and summer in my driveway. Made the team the next year (and every year after) and later became a sportswriter.
