A supplier made me check hundreds of transactions as we apparently underpaid by £20 almost 3 years ago. Found a mistake in their billing and now they owe us ~£3700.

My offer to discount this by £20 as a gesture of goodwill was absolutely not appreciated.

Client makes a 2nd payment as they tried passing an aburdly high forex fee onto us. The point isn't that you lose £x, it's that I gain £x.

They're on their 3rd payment now. Paying a flat fee each time. Their balance is reducing so slowly. The only thing that's slower is... them.

I love buying second hand electronics, esp. when you find them massively discounted due to an issue you know is easily fixable - and then you proceed to get multiple years of use from the item. Such a good feeling.

I hate how often inconvenience turns nice stuff into landfill.
