Big thanks to @sarafischer for succinctly capturing just how critical public notices are for local media, and what the expansion of this category could mean for the industry.

@PathmonkTeam “We want newspapers to retain the revenue that publishing public notices provides because we believe in the value and necessity of local news.” Natalie Burge talks about what it’s like to build a career in an industry that’s been underserved by technology. Thank you @PathmonkTeam
Hands in the air if you care about public notice! Our Product and Engineering team gathered in London last week for a team retreat. The theme was “Do the Work that Matters,” one of our five operating principles at Column.
Food was amazing, weather was great (for England), and the team played both darts AND cricket. Some team members even discovered Scotch Eggs for the first time. All in all, a huge success. We hope to see you at our next retreat!
Retreats continue to be a special part of team building at Column. We’re remote-first by choice, people-first by principle. Join us at our next: https://t.co/vEPnWGnAka.
