Of all the photos I took this weekend, this one hit my core. 5 years puts a lot into perspective. 2017 was supposed to be my last event but something told me to stay & look at what happened. It’s been so long since I’ve been this driven to make greatness happen.

We’re already planning future Frostbites so this is something we need to know:

Would Melee fans come to a Frostbite that only had monitors? Would top players even show up?

To everyone asking why we haven’t brought Melee back since 2016...

1. CRTs suck. They are heavy and therefore expensive. One also blew up in my face once.

2. I am not a Melee expert and I don’t want to compete with TBH. Maybe @JuggleRob and I can come up with a solution.

Vendors are something I take very seriously because I was a vendor at anime conventions for YEARS. I take really good care of my vendors. I will, however, make sure to put out applications out way earlier to try and accommodate everyone better.

I tried to get more space and more tables in there but designs were repeatedly denied and I wasn’t about to sell space that I knew wouldn’t make the vendors money. Sorry it took so long but it was because I was trying EVERYTHING before saying no. Ask anyone

Top 3 complaints from Frostbite:

1. Space

Knew that going in. Was on a two year contract. That is why we capped so early. Looking for a new place.

2. Temperature

Similar amount of people as last year yet this wasn’t a problem last year. Told the hotel to get the AC checked

I was the one who decided to do a raffle. I explained everything very clearly. You had to be present to win. He was not present. He did not win. Nearly 10 players were called and did not win, even players who were in their rooms or downstairs when they were called
