How does a mobile @GoSHspeech Speechie Student start her day? With a @maccas coffee and banana bread obviously. I always feel super productive starting my day going over notes at a cafe 😂
I never noticed this, but now I’m seeing it in every music video! Interesting enough you can still make a clear ‘l’ sound even with your tongue touching your top lip.
Happy #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth. I always struggled with reading and writing. In Highschool I always put it down to “you don’t study/work hard enough”. Only to be flagged in my bachelors degree and later discovered I have dyslexia. How ironic - a dyslexic speech pathologist. #slp2b
I found this recent article really interesting, as I always assumed person-centred terminology was always best. Have a read and let me know your thoughts. How to talk about autism https://t.co/jA0bRxtoDi
Today was officially my last ‘first day’ of Speech Pathology placement! A 2 year Masters almost done at @GoSHspeech just like that! #8weeksleft#slp2b#Classof2022
Earlier this Semester I had the privilege of attending a placement day at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
This was super enlightening as even though I always thought I’d want to work in the hospital, It made me realise just how much I desire working within the #communitysetting
Today is the International Day of Older Persons and marks the beginning of @SpeechPathAus's 'Ageing Well campaign', which will run through October. Flick through the images below to understand how #SLPs support older people's communication!

I have a new found admiration for Opera Singers and the theatre now knowing what I know about vocal folds and voice disorders. #PhantomoftheOpera#voicedisorders
I have unfortunately gotten sick over STUVAC and lost my voice. So you know what that means…? Impromptu perceptual evaluation on my voice! @CathGregorySP and colleagues of @GoSHspeech, keen to see your ratings in the comments!
Such a great opportunity to observe @DrAmyFS in an acute ICU Sydney hospital yesterday! It was great to be accompanied by @ComfortHopkins. An eye-opening experience!
Came across this video on tiktok on #breastfeeding and wanted to share it with my #GoSHspeech colleagues. I loved learning about #paediatricfeeding with @KirstyAxiak and one thing I didn’t know before that module was just how technical breast feeding really is!
