Currently creating a superhero universe with @rumb1erumb1e; original stories about our "Society of Heroes" and "Ape-Man: The Human Gorilla" coming soon!
I know I haven't talked about Ape-Man in a long time. Since I started grad school, a lot of our plans had to change. Don't worry, Jerry Carpenter and the rest of the Society of Heroes will still see the light of day. In fact we're working on something bigger than YouTube now.
The group behind this has been confirmed to be a Republican funded psyop. Genuinely sick that they would do this right before an election. This entire pamphlet is full of deliberately extreme stuff designed to make trans people look bad.
Spread the word about this scam.
I find it funny the last curse Geoff Johns has placed on the Flash is the existence of DC Universe Presents a totally real story "Flashpoint" and tanking the entire property.
Happy 55th anniversary to John Stewart, whose resume includes Marine, architect, and Green Lantern. That's already three more qualifications than most of us have, and somehow he still has to deal with the rest of the universe's nonsense. Our John Stewart, Aaron Pierre brought all of that complexity to the screen in LANTERNS. John Stewart first appeared in GREEN LANTERN (Vol. 2) #87, written by Denny O’Neil, with pencils by Neal Adams and inks by Dick Giordano.
8th richest person in all of Scotland & 7th best selling author in human history about to tell you that the thing she's spent millions opposing is "Elitist"
By the way, the fact that Mike exists in 6160 didn’t guarantee that he exists in 616. 6160 is not 616. It is a completely different world, with elements that predate the Maker.
So, the fact Mike is running around in 616 AND HAS POWERS means Chip’s brewing something for him.
Okay, who wants to bet that Chip is going to have his OC face off against the "real deal" in this clear upcoming "Civil War III" over whether superheroes should intervene to create a "super-utopia"?
By far the biggest contributor to this recent rise in anti-Semitism is the conflation of anti-Semitism with criticism of Israel
You cannot expect the general public to take anti-Semitism seriously if wearing anti-genocide pins is lumped in with actual hate crimes against Jews
🚨 NEW: The Government has accepted all 27 recommendations from the report to end antisemitism in schools and colleges
1. Recognise antisemitism as a distinct form of hatred, not just general racism
2. Strengthen political impartiality guidance, including limits on teachers wearing pro-Palestine badges
3. Establish a national hotline for school leaders dealing with antisemitism
4. Improve teaching about contemporary antisemitism and modern Jewish life
5. Teach pupils to recognise and challenge antisemitic conspiracy theories
6. Include antisemitism explicitly in school safeguarding policies
7. Train teachers to recognise and tackle antisemitism
8. Work with the Home Office and the Prevent programme to help schools identify when antisemitism may be linked to radicalisation
9. Encourage schools to adopt the IHRA working definition of antisemitism
10. Improve procedures for reporting antisemitic incidents, including signposting
11. Ensure antisemitic bullying and complaints are investigated and acted on consistently
12. Make clear in staff conduct policies that antisemitism is unacceptable
13. Strengthen Holocaust education, including antisemitism's role in the Holocaust, and encourage schools to mark Holocaust Memorial Day
14. Create more opportunities for pupils to engage with Jewish communities, including visits to synagogues
15. Make sure Judaism and modern Jewish life are properly represented in religious education
16. Improve media literacy so pupils can also identify online antisemitism
17. Provide better resources for teaching the Israel-Palestine conflict fairly and sensitively
18. Ensure schools have clear policies for dealing with antisemitism involving external speakers
19. Ensure education unions have clear antisemitism policies
20. Establish a dedicated support service to help schools, colleges and councils deal with antisemitism
21. Use some of the Government's security funding to help Jewish schools and colleges undertake educational visits safely
22. Run a campaign to tackle antisemitic behaviour at transport hubs near Jewish schools and colleges
23. Provide Jewish school and college leaders with mentoring and more security advice
24. Strengthen accountability for schools that fail to deal properly with antisemitism
25. Enable Ofsted and the Independent Schools Inspectorate to assess how schools tackle antisemitism
26. Make local councils identify local patterns of antisemitism and help schools respond
27. Share effective practice and guidance between schools and colleges
You open by clarifying that you do not want trans people dead. Thank you for the spoiler. The rest of the piece, however, treats the existence of people like me (trans women who have medically transitioned, live as women, and ask only that our material reality not be legislated out of every public category) as an existential threat to the very concept of “woman.” That is not a statement of concern. It is a demand that we vanish into a pure biological definition you control.
You repeatedly describe the “dominant strain of trans activism” as the claim that any man who declares himself a woman is literally a woman, entitled to every female space, every sports category, every rape-crisis room, and every lesbian’s dating pool. This is a useful caricature. It lets you collapse a wide range of people and practices into a single predatory figure: the heterosexual male who retains male pattern criminality, male strength, and male sexual orientation while demanding entry. Some such individuals exist. Some have committed terrible crimes. Safeguarding against them is necessary. What you refuse to grant is that this figure is not coextensive with the category “trans woman,” nor that the policy response must be the categorical erasure of sex-based recognition for everyone who has transitioned.
I am a trans woman. I am also a lesbian and a mother of daughters. I have been on estrogen for years. I pass as a woman in public spaces. My body is not that of an unaltered adult male, and my social existence is not that of a man who has simply announced a new title. When you write that “if a man can be a woman, there is no such thing as a woman,” you are not describing a logical necessity. You are describing the conclusion you have already chosen: that any acknowledgment of transition must dissolve the category entirely. That is not how categories work when material reality is more complicated than the binary you prefer. Intersex conditions, hormonal variation, and long-term medical transition produce bodies and social positions that do not fit cleanly into the pre-transition male template you treat as permanent. Acknowledging this does not require pretending that sex is a costume or that every male who says “woman” must be housed in a women’s prison. It requires refusing the claim that the only alternative to total self-ID is total exclusion and denial.
You note, correctly, that not all women are equally affected by these policies, and that elite women can afford private security and the luxury of abstract slogans. Working-class women and rape survivors cannot. This is true, and it is a reason for careful, case-by-case safeguarding rather than a reason to treat every trans woman as an undifferentiated male risk. It is also a reason to notice who else is made more vulnerable by the rhetoric you advance. Trans women are disproportionately victims of violence. Many of us are also survivors. The women-only rape crisis center you fund is a legitimate response to a real problem; the accompanying insistence that the only coherent feminism is one that defines us out of womanhood is not. When institutions over-reach (placing an intact male in a women’s prison or a rape-crisis role without regard to pattern of offending or medical status), they create the scandals you document. Those scandals do not license the reverse over-reach: the claim that any recognition of transition is “Stonewall Law” and must be rolled back in full.
You invoke Orwell and the freedom to say that two plus two is four. The freedom to state biological facts is real and has been threatened in some workplaces and institutions. It is not the same thing as the freedom to decide, by fiat, that medical and social transition changes nothing about the person who has undergone it, and that anyone who disagrees is participating in a top-down elite plot to abolish women. Past movements for rights expanded recognition without requiring that the prior category be dissolved. (1/2)
A woman who lied her way into a best seller off of the backs of creatives before her will now lie her way into holding no culpability for the deaths that come from her lobbying of hatred.
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still.

"I don't want transgender people dead..."
And yet.
No condemnation of her ilk wishing for the eradication of transgender people.
No condemnation of the constant dehumanization of Brianna Ghey.
No condemnation of the reinstated gay and trans panic defence.

Not a word of support for the Cornell victim.
Not a word support for the NYC victim.
Not a word of support for the women and children of Gaza.
It isn't a coincidence that all of her financial support goes to upper class men and women of the same grift.

JK Rowling has not uttered a word about Cornell.
JK Rowling has made no mention of the girls being raped in ICE detention centres.
All of her "concerns" hinge on her hatred of transgender people.
All of her "concerns" are for women and girls of a certain class.

J.K. Rowling has published a new essay defending her views on the trans community and calling out trans activism in the 21st century for being "elitist."
"My views haven't changed... what to me represents no change at all in my political or ideological outlook has, in recent years, seen me and women like me subject not only to criticism but also to death threats. This is because we oppose the current, dominant strain of trans activism, which holds that a man who declares himself a woman is, literally, a woman, and is therefore entitled to be treated as a woman in all contexts..."

Muting now, if you are a transphobe you are parroting the same Nazi rhetoric that caused the Holocaust so you’re not worth debating https://t.co/yzoPXcgB62

really shows how stupid the whole anti-trans rhetoric is when you have one of the richest women in the world calling mostly poor LGBT people "elitist" for defending ourselves
madame I work a part time job and barely have enough at the end of the month and you've been a billionaire for almost as long as I've been alive and live in a literal mansion. And I'M the elitist??
