Over the past few months, @RoyalAirForce Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System teams have been working around the clock in the Middle East. Using Rapid Sentry and Lightweight Multirole Missiles to shoot down drone threats targeting @DefenceHQ personnel, partners and allies.
Land’s End to John o’ Groats - complete 🎉
True to the saying that no plan survives first contact, the team had to quickly adapt to some logistical challenges earlier on-review, reset and press on.

Ast the RAF police dog 🐶
Corporal Dylan Robbins introduced us to Ast, one of the military working dogs that form part of the Operational Capability Unit within the RAF.
He told us how the dogs are trained, their uses within the unit, and where their strengths lie - all while Ast remained obediently sat like a good boy.
"Think of us as care in the air"✈️
Flight Lieutenant Tom Knight explained to us what the RAF Aeromed Squadron's role is on the C-17 at last week's RAF Air Space Combat Power Event at RAF Brize Norton.
From treating cuts and wounds through to critical injuries, the Aeromed team of medically-trained personnel are a critical part of the RAF.
Meet StormShroud, the RAF's latest electronic warfare drone 👀
Sqn Ldr Stuart Quinn walked us around the new autonomous aircraft which is the first of a new family of Autonomous Collaborative Platforms. It's launched from the ground and will support RAF F-35B Lightning and Typhoon pilots by blinding enemy radars using high-tech signal jammers to increase operational effectiveness of crewed aircraft.
2/2 It was a fantastic evening at the Tower of London, graciously hosted by the Chief Yeoman Warder. Particularly proud to note that the four Yeoman Warders on duty were all former RAF senior enlisted personnel—an outstanding reflection of continued service and commitment.
Honoured to have attended the Ceremony of the Keys last evening, witnessing the King’s Colour Squadron mount the Guard with such precision and professionalism. I was immensely proud to see such a fine display of tradition, discipline, and excellence.

Consistent exercise strengthens not only our bodies, but our mental toughness, focus, and ability to lead under pressure.
Physical readiness fuels mental readiness.

Last night personnel from across Air Command attended the Strength for Life Seminar at Beyond Walls Crossfit, ran by Instructor Barry Fleming.
Its powerful reminder that fitness isn’t just about performance, it’s about resilience.
