Elden ring is open world where you can do different things in almost any order if you want its not block until a specific point to continue and not sit there pulling your hair out but at that point you already understand the game and mechanics

In ds3 in particular if you are stuck on a boss yes you can grind but most of thd time you cant go to another area before beating that boss to continue its very linear unlike demon souls ds1, ds2, bloodborne, and elden ring

Sekiro is harder because you can only do one specific move set but im not going into that too much

Elden ring isn't easy but easier then any souls game they have made
