There has been months and months of data gathering, public consultations and meetings.
At this stage can anyone say where this project is or has it been decided to simple let it go away amidst silence?
Active travel are failing

This has dragged on too long already, it’s a no brainer and will deliver hugely for the area and wider community.
Delaying tactics being employed are very frustrating and stem from car dominance thinking. @IrishCycle

As if the footpath weren’t narrow enough on High St - this individual parks on the footpath with a trailer blocking the doorway of Peggy’s Parlour and the apartment block.
@LimerickCouncil@BadParkingLK
Would a fire tender or ambulance fit through easily?
Great to see @TheMilkMarket busy this morning but not at the expense of safety.
Change is needed !!

@FionanCoughlan@TheMilkMarket@LimerickCouncil For someone who is hoping to be Irelands first DEM, one would have hoped for more vision and an approach that considers all rather than just self.
Surely you must want to prioritise investment in sustainable transport in order to reduce the reliance on the
private car?
@MercedesMr89433@TheMilkMarket@LimerickCouncil@BadParkingLK@DiscoverIreland@Failte_Ireland Unfortunately many of the vehicles around the market belong to traders.
They provide a great space inside the walls but to hell with everyone else outside. It’s a very disappointing approach especially considering the objective regarding physical space around the market
As if the footpaths around @TheMilkMarket weren’t below minimum requirements as they are!
Due to safety concerns a bollard system will be put in place entering the market. What about the safety of residents, businesses and the public in the remaining area?
