- Ghana Ian man working as a delivery man in the United States contacted police after a customer allegedly pulled a gun on him.
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Customs Division has intercepted an assault rifle, two pistols and 610 rounds of ammunition allegedly being smuggled into Ghana through the Golden Jubilee Terminal at the Tema Port.
The firearms and ammunition, concealed among personal effects in a consignment from the United States, were discovered during a routine inspection by Customs officers.
The seized items have since been handed over to the Ghana Police Service for further investigation and necessary action.

The case surrounding the death of popular phone dealer Terry has taken another major turn as the suspects have been brought before the court for the first time.
Philip Dzifa Kofi Tefe, Sarah Osei Adams and Josiah Obodai have been identified by the police as the three primary suspects in the case.
Sunday Omeje, who is linked to the alleged receipt of Terry’s phone, has also been cautioned in connection with the investigation.
