@AEKeyse@dannykanell@Brandon_Aubrey With that said
1. Brandon Aubrey failed at soccer at the MLS which is an incredibly low bar (basically he sucked at soccer and is still the best kicker in the league)
2. Lebron in goal would’ve been glorious and could’ve been the goat.
@AEKeyse@dannykanell@Brandon_Aubrey It’s not about the athlete or size of talent pool. We are just as, if not more athletic than most of the international teams. It’s about development programs allowing our studs to develop in the most important years 10-16. The way our youth system is built is what needs fixing
@AEKeyse@dannykanell I love that more people are getting into the game, but man the level of ignorance is otherworldly. This is coming from a huge NFL fan.
@Brandon_Aubrey would love to get your thoughts on this…
@sketchy_bat@SiMaggioFM As a USMNT fan, the “best athletes” argument is terrible. It’s not an athletic issue. It’s a technical ability issue which stems from the development programs and system
@itscalebadams We played some of our best in this WC. We shrank at the biggest stage but we have never been favored in a round of 16 game before (I know we lost but sports books had us favored at closing). Give Poch 4 more years. No brainer for me.
@JustinMacmahan It’s not about being a purist lmao it’s just the rule of the game. You don’t ignore pass interference based on the location of the field, and if you do, that’s more of a reason to eliminate old school 60 year old officials from ruining games. Just get the call right
