It's going to be a hot one, so we headed out early today before making a start on our #homelearning. Bit of spontaneous science on the dangers of #nitrousoxide @KeepBritainTidy & studying the latest stage of the crop cycle in the farmer's fields. And lots of cans, of course...

[Fred Long @Catfordkid]

As Ops Manager for Tonbridge RefugEase I am delighted to announce we'll be opening our new premises during Refugee Week. Relaxation has given us a fantastic opportunity to receive your donations. Loading bay outside, I'll be inside between 12-2pm.
Official opening on 21st June.

Happy Easter everyone! Day 3 of our #Titanic open-air exhibition & we've made a crossword for anyone passing to take home. People have been taking photos as they walk past on their #DailyExercise & neighbours look forward to learning new facts each day #PositiveNews @itvmeridian

Blue... Sometimes our favourite colour, sometimes not. If you're wearing #Gloves to protect yourself during #Covid_19, please can you help protect the rest of us by safely binning them rather than dropping them in the road or a car park! #keepKentclean #lockdownlitter

Our #postman has been getting a bit of negativity on his rounds here in @GreenJudd in #Tonbridge. He's a music lover and we often chat to him about his music! Hope this raises his spirits for a few moments this morning. #thankyoukeyworkers #RoyalMail @RoyalMail

A working group at #Tonbridge has set up a website, https://t.co/mDoO3tKYWZ, which gives information on how Design Technology Depts can make protective masks for key NHS workers, using materials and equipment that schools are likely to have. #makemoremasks https://t.co/mDoO3tKYWZ

If you suspect your neighbours could be self-isolating why not print out and fill in some of these forms and drop them through their letterboxes. They might be confined to their homes but we can let them know they are not alone.

Vote for @mochafella and let’s get the park pumped and get us back trading. 3 months with no action. Spread the word and get #pumpthepark trending @TMBC_Kent

[Commit To Your Street Tonbridge @CommitStreetTon]

Following yesterday's successful #TonbridgeLitterWave, two new streets have been claimed in #Tonbridge's #CommitToYourStreet scheme. If anyone else would like to get involved, please have a look at the map to see which roads are unclaimed #KeepKentClean https://t.co/iFVAjhF4LB

[Litter Kickers @LKickers]

Part of our #TonbridgeLitterWave event was on @bbcsoutheast news yesterday and we really enjoyed talking about why we think it's so important to pick up #litter and care about our planet.

[Litter Kickers @LKickers]

Wow, today has been immense! We're just refuelling & looking at all the notifications from today's #TonbridgeLitterWave which has been quite overwhelming. We'll post properly as soon as we can & update the map with the huge tidal wave of positivity that spread across town today!

[Litter Kickers @LKickers]

Tomorrow's our #LeapDay #LitterWave in #Tonbridge. The weather looks ok & we're going quickly check in the morning for good areas to target as our fabulous #LitterHeroes head out across town. It'll be hard to resist picking it up!

Can't wait to see the wave fill up the map🌊

[Somerhill @SomerhillKent]

Great initiative! Let’s help clean up!
