Today Retro Games Ltd. tease a prototype video. Obviously not everyone is on Facebook, so here it is. My only question, where's the classic Amiga kick screen?๐

Running workbench is a little more complicated, you can run it from an .adf but after a reset, you will have to load it from .adf again everytime you want to use it. There is no whdload version of workbench, to use workbench properly it has to be installed onto a blank self created .hdf (hard drive file) This can be done through an emulator, WinUAE would be the best option for this. I'm not familiar with AmiBerry but it's based on WinUAE, so it's quite possible you may be able to do this purely on thea1200 with the correct workbench files.
OCS/ECS models (A500, A600, A2000, CDTV) Ideal for classic OCS/ECS games.
AGA models (A1200, A4000, CD32) Provides the enhanced Amiga architecture and improved color palettes.
Custom Configurations: You can also mix and match, such as assigning an '030 or '040 processor to an A500 profile.
Amiberry (based on the WinUAE core) supports emulating virtually all Amiga types, including the A500, A600, A1200, A3000, A4000, CD32, and CDTV. It natively supports up to 2 MB of Chip RAM (the hard limit for original custom chips) and a combined maximum of 1 GB of Fast RAM (Zorro III/Processor slot) depending on your host system.
@MarcyBesky Not a fan either but for people new to Amiga and emulation, pick up and play is definitely the way forward. The average Joe doesn't want to mess around with complicated settings and .ini files.
What you are seeing is emulation running whdload games from a custom menu using (I think) AmiBerry. The classic kickstart screen can be used if you have the correct kickstart roms and boot from .adf floppy files. You still need the correct kick files to run whdload games, so I assume Retro Games Ltd now have the rights to use the roms from Michael Battilana.
