@Meta Common Cause demands the immediate reinstatement of the No Kings coalition—because in our democracy, the voices of everyday voters must never take a backseat to corporate political favors.

[Common Cause @CommonCause]

Silencing a nationwide protest on the Early Vote Day of Action is an alarming act of corporate censorship that strikes at the heart of our democracy. Tell @Meta to restore the No Kings Coalition Instagram account immediately.

@Meta We must demand that social platforms that control our modern public square protect civic participation, not silence it.

🚨 3 weeks before the election, the DOJ sent a 48-hour ultimatum to California demanding officials withhold mail-in ballots for 20,000 voters.

When election officials refused, the DOJ sued.

"DOJ has no authority to demand that CA set aside lawfully cast ballots. Only CA is responsible for maintaining voter rolls. The DOJ's demands are based on unreliable government databases. This shows a disregard for voters, hardworking election officials, and the Constitution."

[Common Cause @CommonCause]

Early voting has already kicked off in many states around the country and is right around the corner for others.

Don’t just make a plan to vote — make a plan to vote early.

"We are glad the judge sees the severe threat this poses to our democracy and taxpayers and ruled in our favor to extend the restraining order against these illegal campaign ads,” said Common Cause President & CEO Virginia Kase Solomón.

[Common Cause @CommonCause]

“Shifting these propaganda ads from TV to YouTube doesn’t make them any less illegal—this is yet another clear abuse of taxpayer and government resources. The government cannot promote partisan political propaganda to boost the president’s ego."
