सुनने में आया है कि उदयपुर के जिस देमत गाँव के स्कूलों का हमने परसों दौरा किया था और जर्जर इमारतों की हकीकत पूरे देश के सामने रखी थी, वहाँ के शिक्षकों को डराया धमकाया गया है और हमें बुलाने वाले गाँव वालों पर FIR करवाने के लिए उनपर दबाव बनाया गया है। यह भी सुनने में आया है कि ऐसा करने से शिक्षकों ने मना कर दिया है।

#DUSUElection: Reducing the political mood of an entire generation of hundreds of millions of young Indians facing joblessness, broken education system, dilapidated schools, inflation and mass despair to the result of ONE student-union election, completely run on money and muscle power, is not great analysis.

And if that is the barometer, then what about the ABVP’s loss in Garhwal Central University just 8 days ago? Are those Gen-Zs less valuable Gen-Zs than those in one Delhi college? It has been a curse for this nation that a government thinks only elections are a barometer, especially when results clearly show fractured opposition votes is the only reason for their power.

मुझे अभी बच्चों द्वारा बताया गया है कि वहाँ मांगे सुनने की बजाय पुलिस द्वारा लाठीचार्ज की तैयारी की जा रही है।

After travelling extensively across Gadchiroli, the only good school for Tribal children I came across was the one started by Dr. Prakash Amte.

It has a science lab, art studio, digital lab, library, and serves some of the healthiest meals I have ever seen being provided to students. This year 8 tribal students from this school cracked NEET and will become doctors.

After visiting the school, I was left with one question: if Dr. Amte can build and run a school like this, why can’t the govt do the same despite having lakhs of crores at its disposal?

Lastly, it was truly an honour to meet the Amte couple, who have dedicated nearly 50 years of their lives to serving Tribal communities and their children. Their work and commitment are truly inspiring.

Pralhad Joshi, appointed after youth protests forced Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, is holding two other ministries. A ministry as big and important as the Education Ministry is sort of his “additional” charge.

The chatter within the BJP is that the Cabinet reshuffle is stuck because of serious disagreements between the PM and the HM. Over and above that, a silent rebellion by senior Ministers who have been asked to quit but are refusing to do so! It’s shocking how this government has totally lost the plot when it comes to governance. Entire Cabinet and state BJP govts have been put into lighting diyas and doing aarti of the mahamanav at the cost of serious governance. Completely lost touch with the ground. The young generation is anxious about its future but the government is busy spending taxpayer’s money in complete nonsense.

India and its youth deserve better, starting with a full-time Education Minister. The Prime Minister’s inability to reshuffle his cabinet is causing grave problems in the Education Ministry. Bureaucrats are chilling knowing that the Minister is eventually gonna go. But the reshuffle is pending since pre-Jantar Mantar months. A total collapse of governance!

Prof. Saibaba- a disabled man spent years in jail and died within 10 months of being released on bail- with no trial!
Umar and Sharjeel have spent more than 6 years in jail awaiting trial- bail denied.
Gulfisha, Meeran, Khalid Saifi and many others also spent years in jail before getting bail… they were/are all activists, intellectuals and /or students..

Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal’s proposal to ban any MP and MLA who gets elected on Party X’s symbol and later defects to Party Y for money or under pressure should be welcomed. He calls for 10 years ban.

Point 5 of CJP’s first demand charter released by @abhijeet_dipke sought the same thing, but much stricter—a ban from holding ANY public office and contesting elections for 20 years.

Breaking political parties, bribing MPs with 50-100 crores, toppling governments is a fraud committed on the country. Such fraud should never happen. The Anti-Defection law is outdated. The ruling party has ensured its misuse in its lust for eternal power. The young will change this! 🇮🇳🪳✊🏻
