In chapel today, Bro. Joel Fugate preached “The Attitude of Charity” from I Corinthians 13.

Charity should shape our service, our standards of living, and our sacrifice. The measure of love is seen in how patiently and faithfully we live for others.

The disciples rowed through the storm, doing what they could; then the Lord brought them to their destination.

Spiritual growth is often gradual. Keep moving forward in obedience. Procrastination, misplaced priorities, & comparison can become detours along the way.

Commonwealth Baptist College is a SOUL-WINNING college, and we are not ashamed of it! Soul winning is in our DNA!

Our faculty lead by example. We don’t just teach students how to win souls to Christ—we go with them and put what we teach into practice.

Let your light shine!

“Their rock is not as our Rock” (Deut 32:31).

Bro. Young reminded us that Jesus Christ is our faithful, unchanging Rock. Yet even Israel neglected the One who sustained them.

How is your relationship with the Lord? Are you resting in Him or drifting from Him?

David defeated Goliath, but the battle against the giants didn’t end there.

In 2 Sam 21, David’s servants fought faithfully, trusting God for victory. The enemy may bring another spear or sword, but no weapon is new to the Lord. God still needs faithful servants willing to stand

The battle for a clean life is fought in the mind.

Bro. Dunn preached from Psalm 119:9–16 on “How to Control Your Thought Life”: get your mind clean with God’s Word, build guard rails around it, and internalize the Scriptures.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart.”

What a wonderful day of rejoicing at CBC!

Despite the rain, our students and staff faithfully shared hundreds of Gospel tracts during Each One Reach One. We praise the Lord for the many precious souls who trusted Christ as Saviour today!

To God be the glory!

Today @drjefffugate reminded us that spiritual victory is found in the presence, Word, and power of God. As we confess our sin, surrender our lives, and walk by faith, we can stand firm in Christ.

“Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

In I Kings 3:16–28, Three responses to one child: a possessive spirit claimed him; passive concern accepted his death; personal passion pleaded for his life.

“It Ain’t Your Baby—and That’s Why You Don’t Care.” A reminder: our concern for the helpless reveals our hearts.

[Commonwealth Baptist @CommonwealthB]

If God be for us, who can be against us? He gave His Son, raised Him, and Christ intercedes for us. No trouble can separate us from His love.

Trust His Word; rest in His mighty work. Through Him that loved us, we are more than conquerors.

Mary poured out a costly gift at Jesus’ feet, and the fragrance filled the house. Judas criticized; Jesus honored her devotion and connected it with His burial.

Others may misunderstand what we give to Christ, but He sees the love behind it.

After the busyness of service, the disciples saw their one loaf and forgot the multitudes Jesus had fed.

From Mark 8:10–21, Bro. Jon Fugate reminded us: remember Christ’s past miracles, trust Him in the present, and look for His provision ahead.

Don’t forget the Bread.

Today in chapel, Dr. Jorgensen preached from II Peter 1:1–4 on our precious faith. It rests in the righteousness of our Saviour and the promises of God. He has given us all things needed for life and godliness.

May we live in the power of this precious provision.

Pastor Dewayne Walker challenged our students from James 4:13–14 today: “I didn’t know what I wanted. God knows what I need and should want. I want what God wants.”

With humor, warmth, and Bible truth, he reminded us that the best life is a life surrendered to God’s will!
