Three companies dominate 83% of the UK's national newspaper market, promoting the interests of corporations and a wealthy elite. The biggest owner is billionaire right-wing press baron Rupert Murdoch.
How is that a "free press"?
The Government has had months to sort out exams and has now been forced into a screeching U-turn after days of confusion.
This is a victory for the thousands of young people who have powerfully made their voices heard this past week.
Resign, @GavinWilliamson.
The lady might not have been for turning but this U-turn is another humiliation for this woeful, reckless & dangerous government.
Well done to all who made it happen.

The UK Government's exam results fiasco is robbing hard-working students of their futures. It must urgently U-turn on its decision. Agree? Add your name to our petition 👇
As Scotland moves to reverse the downgrading of exams, it's worth reading this view of our unfair English system. #sqaresults#SQAResultsFiasco https://t.co/UCf9muIWJe

Four years ago today our friend Jo Cox was tragically murdered.
But Jo’s legacy lives on.
Now more than ever, we see how right Jo was that we have “far more in common with each other than things that divide us.”
Take a look at US race history and it becomes increasingly clear #GeorgeFlyod was in effect lynched. My blog on how in post-civil rights America, neoliberalism and increased racism have gone hand in hand.

I wish Alok Sharma a speedy recovery but this confirms that lives of both staff & MPs are being put at risk in Parliament. It was an irresponsible decision by Rees Mogg & Johnson to force open Parliament. It must now revert to lockdown & online operation. https://t.co/hfAyze1BE8
