Earlier today, some players experienced intermittent disconnects, login issues, or other service disruptions in Gears of War: E-Day. These issues were due to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks targeting our online services.

We deployed a fix for the "Marcus-Lancer" error messages occurring for some users yesterday.

To apologize for those that had issues getting in to play yesterday, we have granted affected players 15,000 Coins in Gears of War: E-Day. This will not impact your weekly coin cap.

For those still receiving the "You're too early" message, please ensure that your account satisfies both conditions:

- You own the base version of the game through direct purchase OR are personally a Game Pass Ultimate / PC Game Pass member

- You own the Premium Edition Upgrade

If you purchased the Premium Edition Upgrade, please ensure the same account also owns the base game through direct purchase or has an active Game Pass Ultimate / PC Game Pass membership.

Early Access Update: We've resolved issues related to the Premium Edition Upgrade and content on both XBOX and Steam. We're in the process of rolling out a fix for players receiving a "You're Too Early" message. This is expected to be deployed in the next hour.

We're working on a fix, but in the meantime, players can obtain their Premium Edition content by navigating to the in-game shop and selecting "buy" on the Premium Edition offer.

Premium Edition owners will not be charged, your content should now appear in your inventory.

We recently published a required Day 1 patch for Gears of War: E-Day. If you're hitting an error when trying to launch, please close the game entirely and check for an update.

If you see "4879665" in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen at the main menu, you need to update your game.
