Six months ago there would have been outrage and it would have been front page news. Now it passes with barely a murmur.
But it is as unacceptable now as it would have been at any other time. This must not become the new normal.
I very much appreciate people being glad I’ve ‘recovered’ but I must warn you I’m way off the finished job! I hobble with a stick and only over a few metres, struggle with stairs, become breathless and dizzy and only have full sight in one eye and full hearing in one ear.
COVID-19 has gone down due to the efforts of everyone but is still in general circulation.
If we do not follow social distancing guidance then cases will rise again. Naturally people will want to enjoy the sun but we need to do so in a way that is safe for all.
