It has been some time since I sent a tweet, but I feel I have something worthwhile in a personal achievement to post. Along with my eldest son Mark, I today ran in the Great South Run and I finished in a time of 1:44.06, which for an old boy in his 73rd year is not too bad.
@PaulDFollows @tobyw_w @Jeremy_Hunt litter picking in Haslemere, there must be an election taking place. Here today and gone tomorrow is the order of the day!!!
During these difficult times, 'Dig for Victory' was on the minds of us old boys down the allotment today. However, we had to stop for a cup of tea, but of course we did position ourselves a sensible distance apart
Yesterday and due to the coronavirus outbreak, I had to inform our riders of the cancelation of the 2020 Little Lumpy Cycle Sportive. However, rather than taking a refund on their monies paid, many donated them to one of our partner charities Alice Holt Inclusive Cycling. 👍
A small ray of sunshine. Some photographs of the work that @WeyBloom in bloom has delivered to bring floral displays to Wey Hill and Junction Place. It is not all doom and gloom, there will be light at the end of the tunnel, so keep calm, stay safe and live life for the future.
The Gourmet Geezers on parade after serving a three course meal to 96 guests at Haslewey Community Centre on Saturday night. With an average age of 73, just how do those old boys do it? Join us on Tuesday evening at @HaslemereBooks for the launch of our cookbook 5:00 - 8:00 pm.

And now for something completely different, the Gourmet Geezers as they have never been seen before and all for charity. You have heard of the Calendar Girls, we now have the Cullender Boys!
When this photograph was taken on Lion Green, the residents of Weysprings were clearing the stream at the side of Lion Green of debris and rubbish. We were ignored by both @Jeremy_Hunt and everyone in the so called brilliant team!
Saw you arrive in Haslemere this AM w/ your bodyguards. Saw you take the fuzzy photo, the one with the dog, in Lion Lane. Saw you get back in your car. Saw you drive away. I reckon 15 minutes max "campaigning" in #Haslemere Did you even speak to a constituent?
What a complete sham. Your brilliant local team as you call them, were having their photograph taken on Lion Green, whilst the residents of Weysprings were clearing the stream on Lion Green of debris and rubbish. You and they ignored us.
Behind the scenes at @LittleLumpy , we have captured a couple of our famous volunteers baking for our riders enjoyment. The picture taken by Stella Mills, is of her Mum Frances (don't tell any one, but Frances is 93 years old) who have today baked192 flapjacks between them!
I trust that you are enjoying your cycling over this glorious Easter weekend. An early reminder to those of you who have still not booked in for the 2019 Little Lumpy Cycle Sportive @LittleLumpy , prices on all routes increase by £5 from May 1st, so it may pay you to book now!
We are pleased to say that we have received a copy of our Gourmet Geezers Cookbook from the printers, it looks great. Don't forget to pre-order your copy from our website https://t.co/d5C6R6kKHu and then pick it up from @HaslemereBooks at the launch on the evening of May 14th.
