"Do not forget the history of your nation, do not reject history of your family, do not reject your grandfathers.
Find your roots, find your history & build the future with it
And those who say that the national heroes are dead and that we need a fresh start? Laugh in their face. They are the clowns of history"
- Pope Francis

Beware of Catholics who continuously promote the idea of “cancelling” the Second Vatican Council. Such voices often stem from two primary sources: the sedevacantist movement, which denies the legitimacy of post-Vatican II popes, and the spirit of Archbishop Lefebvre, who, despite his love for the Church, acted in disobedience by consecrating bishops without papal mandate—leading to a formal schism in 1988.
These positions are not rooted in authentic Catholic obedience or doctrinal fidelity, but rather in a distorted reaction to post-conciliar confusion. While legitimate criticisms and clarifications of certain Vatican II interpretations are valid—and even necessary—the wholesale rejection of an ecumenical council, lawfully convoked and approved by the Roman Pontiff, is contrary to the Catholic faith.
As Pope Benedict XVI rightly taught:
“The truth is that this particular Council defined no dogma at all, and deliberately chose to remain on a modest level, as a merely pastoral council; and yet many treat it as though it had made itself into a sort of superdogma which takes away the importance of all the rest.”
(Theological Highlights of Vatican II, 1966)
Before embracing or sharing such radical views, Catholics must turn to authentic sources: the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the official documents of Vatican II, and the magisterial interpretations given by Saint John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Rebellion disguised as tradition is not fidelity—it is disobedience cloaked in nostalgia.
Y conoce bien a esos medios.
@charlestingler Read S. Catalina. Stop intrepreting the doctrine by yourself, and read the Saints and Doctors of the Church.
S. Cataline: even if Jesus choosed to sett a demon on the chair of Peter, we have to obeide...". The Church is a Kingdom, not a democracy
