We are so looking forward to hosting this Indigenous Peoples' Art Exhibition with @munaywasi_ny this Friday, October 6th, featuring the work of @mayalazzaro and Modesto Rivera. It will be an evening of cultural exchange with indigenous leaders, artists and elders.
Our proximity to Prospect Park allows for lunchtime or post-work walks around the lake for a much needed break in nature. And warm days like this allow us to open up the windows and doors, keeping the space well-ventilated. #coworking#brooklyn
We're excited to be hosting a closing show for our inaugural 'Art at Minka' exhibition "How We Evolve." Join us next Thursday, October 1st, 6β9 PM. Bonus: some artists will be offering reductions on their works - a great opportunity to support local artists.

This is a very difficult time we're all going through and it's easy to despair, but it's also worth finding the silver lining. Mutual Aid groups are being created and strengthened, neighbors are building community pantries and fridges, it's easier to hear the birds sing.
When it's day 'we lost count two weeks ago' of quarantine, the sink overflows with dishes because you're cooking every meal and you just can't take it anymore ... Local fave @Zurileebklyn and their oxtail pizza to the rescue! What local restaurants are keeping you fed & happy?
Our Work Exchange member Biana has joined half of Brooklyn and the internet at large in diving deep into the world of sourdough bread baking. Next up she may brush up on her food photography skills. Share with us what new skills you're learning in this time.
We've been missing our community members so we're hosting a virtual happy hour today at 5 PM with our now virtual Happiness coordinator, Maggie. BYO drinks, show & tell item, and game face! Members, check your emails for the link.

Our work exchange members are doing their best to stay productive ... okay well really just trying to stay sane ... while working from home and maintaining proper social distance. Here's a glimpse of what Scott M. & Maggie O. have been up to.
In light of NY State's newly enacted PAUSE order, we must close our space as of tonight, Sunday 3/22 at 8 P.M. until further notice. Members check your emails for more info and contact us if you have any questions.
