The 99th edition of The Ultimate Human Race was one for the history books! South Africaโs George Kusche and Gerda Steyn didn't just win the 2026 Comrades Marathon, they absolutely shattered the Up Run records, claiming the ultimate victory and a massive R2.3-million payday each! ๐ธ๐
๐น George Kusche clocked an unbelievable 5:15:56, obliterating an 18-year-old record by nearly 9 minutes!
๐น Gerda Steyn secured her 5th overall title and 3rd Up Run win with a phenomenal 5:44:53, cementing her status alongside the absolute legends of the race.
