@DrJoeAbah appreciation. My only reservation is that the military training component should be improved and adapted to contemporary security challenges rather than discontinued.
@DrJoeAbah The objective would not be to militarize graduates but to prepare responsible citizens who can respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies while understanding the safe handling of firearms where legally permitted.
The proposed reforms are laudable and deserve
@DrJoeAbah I would advocate for strengthening this component by introducing structured training in basic rifle handling and firearms safety under the supervision of the appropriate security agencies, alongside first aid, disaster response, and civic security awareness.
@DrJoeAbah made more practical. Given the current security realities in Nigeria, the orientation camp presents a unique opportunity to equip graduates with basic emergency preparedness and responsible self-defence skills.
If I had the opportunity to contribute to the reform process,

However, I respectfully have a different view on the proposal to scrap military drills.
