8/ Future Utility - follow the mega thread of SPARKLET ROADMAP items.

[Upland @UplandMe]

7/ Existing utility
👉Construction and World Building: SPARKLET can be staked towards the construction of structure NFTs that are tethered to the property NFT on the Upland map. There are various types of structures which currently include: Houses, Apartment Buildings, Factories, stadiums, Cafes, Show Rooms, and Speedway Structures.

👉Manufacturing: Spark can be staked towards the manufacturing of Map Items–NFTs that are visually represented and viewable on the Upland map. These items include (but are not limited to): Map Assets (e.g. Decor, Fixtures, Statues, etc.), Structure Ornaments (e.g. Decorations for Halloween), and Cars and Racing Karts.

👉Renting Spark: Spark holders in Upland may rent Spark out to other stakeholders who wish to use it for its utility. This can be achieved today using layer-2 services that use Upland’s developer APIs. One successful example of such tools is the UPX Spark Exchange - a UDN PRO (Upland Developer Network) app within the Upland ecosystem that implemented a DeFi product allowing Uplanders to stake their spark for UPX.

6/ Stakeholders require SPARKLET for:
👉Upland players - build and develop their properties and neighborhoods. Power NFTs that require energy.

👉Entrepreneurs and Creators - build shops, factories, and showrooms to facilitate their “Metaventures” – player-owned businesses – that serve as specialized primary and secondary market shops in the economy. Create user-generated content (“UGC”) NFTs, no-code manufacturing (minting) of virtual assets.

👉3rd Party Developers - establish map presence via “Dev Shops” for visibility; implement zero-code web3 and NFT strategy using the Upland platform.

👉Commercial Partners - (e.g. FIFA, NFLPA, UNICEF, Stock Car Pro Series) Need Spark in a similar fashion to Upland Entrepreneurs. The partner/brand creates virtual assets that would be offered to players for purchase during events, in mini-games, and competitions. Spark powers the partners/brand’s metaverse strategy for fan engagement, co-creation, and monetization in the open metaverse.

5/ The SPARKLET utility token provides economic foundations of a sustainable business model to support such a vast creator platform and to establish sustainable incentivization loops and network effects.

This enables an open architecture and platform services for entrepreneurs, creators, and developers to create new forms of value.

⚡️SPARKLET powers the ecosystem value creation.

[Upland @UplandMe]

4/ The need for SPARKLET in the digital economy

Upland transformed from a game into a gamified platform (or as some users say, “layer1 metaverse”) by building an open architecture for developers and creators.

Upland delivered foundational infrastructure that includes identity, liquidity, currency, land, no-code NFT creation, fiat on/off ramps, and governance and comprehensive APIs.

This allows anyone to build new value into the ecosystem and to expand on the existing Upland functionality, mechanics, and services.

[Upland @UplandMe]

3/ What is SPARKLET
Sparklet fuels all value creation within Upland, serving as the resource for world-building, and unrestricted community, game and experience development.

Within the Upland platform, Spartlet is an in-game token that cannot be traded. Following an overwhelming 87.25% community approval vote for its White Paper, Upland is working to bridge its token to be used outside of Upland.

[Upland @UplandMe]

2/ To understand $SPARKLET, a good place to start is the WHAT IS UPLAND mega thread.

With +3M registered users, +300k unique wallet landowners and over 6M NFTs sold, Upland is the world’s largest mobile Web3 Metaverse Platform.

SPARKLET (formerly, SPARK), has had foundational utility within the Upland platform since 2021, with over 130,000 token holders.
