📦 The music boxes are packed, and the first sessions with our Music Champions are happening this week! This means we’re just days away from launching our ten Music Cafés across all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.

🔬 Music therapy has been shown to reduce the need for medication in 67% of people with dementia. We're so proud to be expanding this life-changing programme to reach even more people, helping participants find new ways to connect and communicate through the power of music.

📍 If you’d like to join us or know someone who would benefit, visit the Music in Mind website to find a weekly Music Café near you (link in bio)

[Let Music Live @letmusicliveuk]

This is what musicians can achieve in just a week of organising on our own. Safe, structured, socially distanced performance of 400 people. What else can we achieve if given the chance. Dear @RishiSunak @OliverDowden we are viable! #letmusiclive #wemakeevents

[Let Music Live @letmusicliveuk]

Today we started our campaign outside Parliament to ask for targeted investment.
Arts sector makes £10.8bn, events makes £84bn. For every £1 spent on us, £2 is spent on wider economy. Yet 87% of musicians are facing hardship, 1/3 are #excludeduk from support.
