Our Aviation Department and Water Department crews worked tirelessly to clear snow and reopen the airport after this past weekend's snowstorm. Over 12 inches came down at the airport.
Crews worked through the night to clear the runway, taxiways, and 39 acres of apron area.

The runway at @ConcordAirprtNC is snow covered and has been closed for snow removal operations. Pilots check NOTAMS for updates. With forecast of continued snow most of the day, it anticipated runway will reopen sometime tomorrow morning.

An Ice Storm Warning has been issued for our area from Saturday afternoon at 1 PM through Monday morning at 7 AM. An ice storm warning means that ice accumulation will make travel dangerous or impossible. Airlines are canceling flights this weekend during the warning period.
