I don't understand their mentality
Abdul El-Sayed Supporter Assaults Influencer Liz Benichou and Issues Death Threat at U of M
A shocking physical confrontation at the University of Michigan has highlighted the escalating reality of political intolerance on college campuses.
During an on-campus debate, conservative Jewish influencer Liz Benichou was discussing women's rights in Iran when a student confronted her. The exchange quickly turned physical when the student dropped her phone, rushed forward, and violently shoved Benichou to the ground.
University police intervened immediately to restrain and handcuff the student. While being placed into a police vehicle, the suspect shouted an explicit death threat back toward Benichou: “I should have fucking killed you when I had the fucking chance.” When a bystander told her to get help, the suspect responded: “I've already been to a mental hospital and I'll go again if it means killing you.”
Why do you think she acted like this. Violence should never be the answer
Her family is from the same part of the world as me, but my world view is very different from hers. We are not the same. I was not born an American, I was made one. I chose love not hate. I chose Texas not terror. I chose debate not violence. I vote red not blue. I support America not Abdul El-Sayed. If someone says something you don’t like, you attack them? 🤔 That’s not what freedom looks like. In America we talk & argue & then we go vote! Please don’t let this warp your perception of Chinese or Mongolian immigrants. Some of us came here because we love this country & we are so grateful to be here & we do not want to change it! 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸🤍🇺🇸💙🇺🇸
This is how Islam works. The same thing happened in Iran during the 1979 Islamic Revolution. This young girl with her whole life ahead of her just threw it all away for Abdul el Sayed. To defend Islam when she isn’t even a Muslim. And if the role was reversed you can be absolutely certain that neither he nor any other jihadist would do the same for her.
These kids are being abused and brainwashed and indoctrinated to give their lives up for something that would spit them out and leave them to die. It’s no different from the indoctrination of their own kids in the Middle East or North Africa. They train the kids to die for a cause that they themselves won’t sacrifice themselves for. Instead they live it up in five star hotels and then turn to the next child. These students are less than cattle fodder for Islamists.
The fact that this has been allowed to happen on American, and European, soil is a travesty. It is a complete failure of western civilization to protect its children. Both sides of the political isle are responsible. Everyone has seen it happening. The DEI education and the billions in Saudi and Qatari and Chinese money. This should have been stopped by force if needed. But it wasn’t. And now an entire generation of psychotic braindead idiotic child soldiers is what we’ve got fighting their own country on behalf of America’s enemies. It will take at least two generations to undo it.
Complete societal failure.
Zia Faruqui— and my longtime followers are familiar with his name—is a magistrate judge. Not appointed by the president, not confirmed by the Senate.
He signed hundreds of J6 arrest warrants including on the unlawful 1512c2 charge. He refused to release Couy Griffin, accused of 2 misdemeanors, from custody.
Last year, he actually apologized to a guy accused of pointing lasers at Secret Service agents and the president’s helicopter after he was charged.
Once again - the abject failure of Congressional Republicans to hold ANY of these judges accountable continues to reverberate in the hopelessly corrupt, unaccountable DC courthouse.
The criminal complaint filed last month was signed by another DC magistrate judge.
There is absolutely nothing unusual about a criminal complaint coming before an indictment/information. Saw it happen over and over in Jan 6 cases.
This is all performative bullsh*t by yet another activist judge in the nation's capital. Trust me--he's getting lots of hugs and high fives from his judicial colleagues.
@julie_kelly2 Question: how did the judge know that the statements were not false? I believe the DOJ filed the indictment to see if the judge would fall for the “banana in the tailpipe”. He failed miserably.
As I wait for transcript of today’s hearing, here’s some reporting by NYT about Faruqui’s crash out in DC courthouse today:
“In an emotional, hourlong address from the bench in Federal District Court in Washington, the magistrate judge, Zia M. Faruqui, said that the case against the former officials — Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides — was a rushed, political prosecution ordered by the White House intended to affect the upcoming midterm elections.
‘I am deeply troubled by what happened here in this case,’ Judge Faruqui said. ‘What has transpired here cannot be described as anything other than weaponization.’
During his speech, Judge Faruqui dismantled almost every aspect of the government’s case. He pointed out that most of the false statements the two defendants were charged with making were not actually false, that none of the false statements were made knowingly and that none of them had any material effect on the congressional investigation which they were called upon to assist.
‘That is not probable cause,’ he said over and over.”
Well that’s weird. According to reports, Mag Judge Zia Faruqui today blasted DOJ prosecutors for bringing a political case right before an election.
But Faruqui signed off on at least 3 complaints (not indictments) against Trump supporters right before the 2022 and 2024 elections 🤔
NEW: Judge Chutkan orders the Trump administration to provide notice within one hour of the planning commission's approval of Trump's arch.
She also ordered them to provide notice within 30 minutes of "any activity related to or in preparation for the construction of an arch on Memorial Circle."
She's still weighing whether to block construction outright, but this order indicates she likely won't rule until there is a vote from the NCPC.
Breaking: Federal judge dismisses—and lambastes—the DOJ false statements case against two former FBI officials. Calls it “weaponization.”
Judge Faruqui—a former federal prosecutor himself—said the government made a number of errors in their "slapdash job" of a case. He said there was no evidence presented before the court that the FBI agents' statements were knowingly false or material. He said the government failed to establish a motive for why the agents would make false statements.
He told prosecutors it was "incredibly unfair" that the DOJ sent into court with such a weak case. "This does not feel like an investigation," Faruqui said. "It feels like a broken one-wish willow obsession."
He added that he was "deeply troubled by what has happened here in this case," and that what happened "cannot be described as anything other than weaponization."
"It was a rush to charge, and that was a mistake," Faruqui said of the case.
"You cannot loan your loyalty and support out to a party. They must earn it every single time." Sara Haines weighs in after Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens endorsed Abdul El-Sayed’s Republican rival, Mike Rogers, in the heated Michigan Senate race.
